A semi-abstract close up of the timber end of a weathered groyne from Landguard Fort, Felixstowe, Suffolk, England. I was so taken by the beauty of the wood grain patterning that I had to take photos and make sketches before the tide came in and then rush home to paint it on a large canvas.
I have strung this piece to allow it to be hung either horizontally or vertically at your preference.
