Sadly Beauty has gone to the pussy playground in the sky and is much missed.
From the few photograghs available, I composed an image of her sitting in her favourite plum tree, added a touch of blossom and of course knocked a few years off her at Val, her owners, request. (All women like to look younger, felines too)
Val popped over a couple of times mid paint sessions to see if the likeness was on track ....although a difficult assignment, when Val walked in to collect the finished work, I was very happy when she said it was just like Beauty was there.
This is the text message i received from Val later that evening....
"Hi Jane
We have got Beauty safely home and in place on the wall.We are thrilled to bits with the painting & can't stop looking at it, her beautiful eyes are drawing us in .
